Situated in warm azure waters of the Indian Ocean, Seychelles boasts one of the most pristine natural environments on the planet and the only mid-oceanic granite islands in the world. In total, 115 islands of truly striking beauty, scattered like diamonds over 1.4 million square kms of warm crystal clear waters; sculpted granite boulders, coral reefs and untouched forests make these islands unique.
Île Aurore Nouvelle (Dawn of a New Island) will be one of the world's most exclusive golf and casino resorts on an island that will rise from the Indian Ocean like a mythical sea creature. PPH chairman, Ivor Stratford says "Île Aurore Nouvelle will be a global landmark in paradise. Built on a secluded, tropical island with white sand beaches, swaying palms and a crystal-clear turquoise sea, we are selling a dream - a vision of a golfing, water sport and diving paradise - in reality a piece of heaven on water".
Île Aurore is an existing reclaimed island of approximately 60 hectares of sparse green vegetation and few inhabitants. Pinnacle Point will reclaim another 60 hectares from the sea in order to create Île Aurore Nouvelle. The Seychellois government have placed strict guidelines on the construction of the island to ensure that sensitive and environmental aspects of the natural surroundings are not compromised.
Île Aurore Nouvelle will be linked to the nearby island of Mahé via a palm-lined causeway, golf carts will be the only means of transport on the resort, and strict environmental controls will ensure preservation of a peaceful, exquisite tropical island. Île Aurore Nouvelle will be low density and exclusively designed to attract the discerning international purchaser, to what will become one of the world's most desirable addresses. Foreign buyers will also be afforded the opportunity of obtaining residency in the Seychelles. Ile Aurore Nouvelle will boast luxury beyond imagination and will include 144 luxury villas and 90 condominiums built around an international 18-hole championship golf course and marina.
The golf course has been designed by renowned golf architect Peter Matkovich, who also designed Pinnacle Point in Mossel Bay in collaboration with Irish golf professional Darren Clarke.
An international casino and conference centre will be built on its own island close by.
